1. Listing and pricing
Review current, authorized rental information with a professional. DOMI does not provide a rent estimate, MLS comparable rents or valuation confidence scores. A selling valuation application is available separately.
2. Tenant screening
Collect only information you are permitted to request, protect it, and use consistent criteria. AI does not guarantee fairness or legal compliance. Review BC tenancy and privacy requirements with a qualified professional.
3. Lease documents
Use the appropriate BC tenancy forms and seek qualified advice where necessary. DOMI does not currently generate legally reviewed leases, sign them, or track renewal deadlines.
4. Rent and notices
Rent payments, reminders and legal notices are not automated by DOMI. Confirm payment methods and applicable BC rules with your property manager or legal advisor before using any third-party tool.
5. Maintenance
A photograph is not a professional diagnosis. DOMI photo estimates, emergency dispatch and repair scheduling are Coming Soon. For an emergency, contact the appropriate local emergency service or licensed professional directly.
6. Records and reporting
Keep accurate income, expense and maintenance records. DOMI does not yet produce accounting reports or personalized tax guidance. Ask a Canadian tax professional about your circumstances.
Frequently asked questions

- Does AI guarantee legal compliance?
- No. Landlords remain responsible for applicable BC tenancy, privacy and human rights requirements. Seek qualified advice.
- Can DOMI collect rent or send legal notices?
- No. These capabilities are not live. Service inquiries do not activate rent payments or legal notices.
